Zac Meakin joins Team Parker Racing to compete in the 2023 Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe.
Greenlight Sports Management confirms British driver Zac Meakin will make his European GT race debut at the wheel of a Porsche GT4 RS. The 16-year-old is the latest addition to the 2023 Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe grid with Team Parker Racing. It’s the first time the young British driver has competed in a Porsche.
The step-up follows a notable two years racing in the highly-competitive Michelin Ginetta Junior Championship in which he achieved a P2 finish at Thruxton in Round 8.
The Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe is a three-round championship held at renowned locations across the Iberian Peninsula, including Valencia, Portimão and the iconic Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
With Team Parker Racing’s 26 years of nurturing talented drivers and racing across multiple championships, including the Porsche Carrera Cup GB and British GT Championship, this opportunity provides Meakin with a robust platform to further his car racing career.
Looking ahead to his Porsche debut, Meakin said:
“It’s a double-whammy of debuts for me as I compete in a Porsche for the first time, as well as racing on European sportscar tracks. It’s a big step. I can’t wait.
Competing with Team Parker for the winter series will give me experience and seat time in the GT4 car. The team has shown it’s competitive across multiple Porsche championships over the years.”

Zac’s debut race in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe will take place at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, Valencia on the 20 – 21 January 2023.
