Vince Abril to race at Barcelona in the Michelin Le Mans Cup with Iron Lynx

GSM driver Vince Abril is set to embark on the next chapter in his racing career as he makes his Michelin Le Mans Cup debut, racing with Iron Lynx in the first round of the championship at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya alongside Hiroshi Hamaguch.

With an illustrious career in GT racing that has seen Vince claim 15 race wins and 37 podium finishes, the racing driver will pilot the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO2 as part of the GT3 class driver line-up—joining the Iron Lynx team, who have successfully gone on to secure over 35 victories and 46 pole positions across ten racing championships, including FIA WEC and European Le Mans Series.

On racing with the Iron Lynx team, Vince comments:

“I’m happy to announce I will join Iron Lynx for the opening MLMC race in Barcelona. As a well-respected team who have raced at Le Mans and are known to be a very professional outlet, I am excited to join them for this selected event and will do the best possible job in a new car, team, and series. I am eager to get started and happy to get back behind the wheel with my teammate Hiroshi. I’d also like to take this moment to thank Iron Lynx for the opportunity.”

The first round of the 2023 Michelin Le Mans Cup gets underway at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on the 22nd April 2023.
